Insurance By Design was created by it's founder and principal Johnny Ahrens. Ahrens was licensed in 1967 and has been actively involved in meeting the needs of Insurance Agents for the last 40 plus years. During the past 40 years, Ahrens has been active in the insurance industry as a Retail Agent, Wholesale Agent, Surplus Lines Writer, Managing general Agent, Marketing Representative, Consultant to MGA's, Finance Companies, Financial Officers of Insurance Companies and an Owner/Underwriter of Finance and Texas Insurance Companies.

Seeing the need for ERRORS AND OMISSIONS insurance by Independent Insurance Agents, in 1991 Ahrens became a specialist in ERRORS AND OMISSIONS for the Insurance Agent. With his many providers, Ahrens is capable of providing a source for the Insurance Agent with specialized needs.
